Professor Nance does an excellent job preparing students for the real world, which is often far more strict and unforgiving than she ever is. She's also very fair, and will reciprocate your efforts and interest. As to getting an "A", Professor Barrack once said: Every student begins class with an “A”, all they need do is keep it.

One of the best teachers I ever had. I took her for every class she taught. Extremely fair, and very helpful if you have questions. You will have to pay attention and put forth some effort to receive an A or B in her class. If you take good notes during her lecture and pay attention to what she reviews before the test you will do well in her class.
