Pretty easy if you go to class and pay attention. He actually made the class interesting and is really helpful and understanding. Laidback, but does expect you to do the work.

I think Professor Black means well, but please don't take his class. The entire class you are either taking a quiz or preparing for one (there's a quiz every other class.) He is a VERY tough grader. He often seemed unprepared for class and disorganized. His lectures are very confusing. I am an A student, and I struggled in the class.

Wasn't good at all. He's a really nice guy but lectures are boring. Syllabus is a mess. Never posts grades online and is clueless about the online Mindtap. Quizzes every week and multiple exams throughout the semester. Go to class and take notes and you should be okay.

Dr. Black is a very dull professor in his lecture style, which makes learning about the dull subject matter even worse. His syllabus is disorganized but he is a nice guy that wants you to be successful. He is a difficult grader so you have to work for your grade, which is completely quizzes and exams.

I have taken many courses online and I would NEVER take Black again. He's hands-down the worst teacher. Online courses need teachers that actually answer an email or two! Doesn't respond. Posted our exam days late and the excuse was: My Bad. I'm a full time working mother and have to plan my semester accordingly...a pathetic effort on his part!

This was the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life. The professor's syllabus is a complete mess. He doesn't know how to work the midtap website well at all. Very difficult to get a hold of outside of class. The tests are extremely difficult and so is the homework. And he doesn't put grades online. Good luck. Dont take the course online SOS

Be prepared to take a quiz every other class with 5 exams throughout the semester. Although the quizzes are super easy it's still your whole grade. Missing one class will ruin you. Quizzes are posted online and attendance isn't for a grade but you will have to be there to pass. I would take again if I had to, easy grading scale as well.

His online class was the hardest class I've taken. I am a pre-med student with near 4.0 GPA but still got B in class. The only B I've ever received . Would not recommed to take in online class.

This whole class is on MyEconLab. There is a 50-question assignment every week or 2 which takes hours, followed by an exam almost every week that you MUST take over the weekend. Your grade on MyEconLab is your grade for the class. Homework is easy but takes so much time, exams are very tough unless you happen to come across the answers on google.

Dr. Black is a very inspirational man! He's passionate in what he teaches giving you a drive to do well. Though he can be a tough grader and expect a lot, keeping up with lecture and homework will make it a breeze. Would take again!

Professor Black is an extremely easy teacher. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you want a good grade you need to go. All of his quizzes come directly from the notes he writes on the board, so take notes and pay attention you'll get at least a 95 on every one. No book needed. Tests are based off the quizzes. Very helpful in office hours.Take him!

I loved this class. Super easy to understand. He's extremely helpful and understanding of your schedule. It's important to go to class and take notes everyday, but don't worry about buying a book. Great teacher!
