Comment:

Rooney's 3700 class provides great utility for entering the real world. While she is a little vague in expectations for assignments, specifically memos, she doesn't maintain 1 correct answer(MUST be persuasive and factual, not opinion-easy A). Class focuses on creating cover letters, building effective resumes and writing strong memos. No tests!

Dr. Rooney is one of those teacher's you'll appreciate when ur out there in the real world. Nothing makes sense at first but she believes in chances to make things right and that is what is so admirable. She trusts your honesty as she is an out right honest person. Awesome teacher

i loved the class, there is no final. Strong emphasis on resumes and cover letters. I believe now i have an extremely effective resume and cover letter thanks to dr.rooney. No exams.... and you are offered a second chance to turn work in if you receive a bad grade. No excuse not to get at least an A.

This teacher is horrible all around. She gives ambiguous assignments and expects you to complete them the way she wants them. Also its 94 for an A, 88 for a BA. You learn nothing and leave with an undeserving grade.

TErrible Teacher Doesn't explain anything with any clarity. Highly recomend you dont take her. Rambles on about nothing. a 94 is an A she gives everyone 85% on assignments. Dont take her.

Wonderful class! At first it looks like alot of homework but really it is easy and he gives you alot of time in class to do work! With her papers make sure to have alot of detail!! Attend every class and work hard and you won't get anything lower than a "c"!
