Dr. Stevens is super sweet and very easy to talk to. I really enjoyed this class, but if you don't have time to read around 50 pages a day I wouldn't recommend it. You don't have to speak up in class if you don't want, but you have to be attentively listening. Three essays in total. The first two are rough, but she works with you to edit them.

Dr. Stevens is a great professor and this class Beyond Bella was one of my favorites at TU. The reading load can be a bit much at times, but if you do all of the readings and take really good notes, you'll do well on the quizzes.

Took this class for block 1 credit, and honestly, it was boring. Her voice is a little monotonous. Readings every single day, and responses on Harvey due twice weekly. She can be a little rude at times, but I don't think she means to be. 3 papers, & a creative project at the end. Attendance and participation are a grade.

Dr. Stevens is a great professor. I see people saying she's a tough grader, and she'll even say that out right at the beginning of her class, but I thought she was fair. She's very understanding, and listens to student feedback when making testssetting test dates. Great teacher, and really smart.

Not to understate or ignore her academic merits, but Laura Stevens is an absolute fox. The all black attire, hair and glasses, combined with the thoughtful consideration evident on her face in class...well, it was difficult to concentrate in her class. I

"anyone who doesnt like her is stupid" hmmm sums things up. Incredibly nice lady, teaches well, quite fair. I still like her even though i was dropped 8 points on my final grade for being an idiot and not paying attention to the attendence policy.... Soooo GO TO CLASS and you will make an A.

Laura Stevens combines grace and intelligence in a way that is almost eerie. Anyone who doesn't like her is stupid and not entitled to an opinion.
