Learned a lot, but gotta work for it. All you need is boilercast and textbook. Multiple quizzes/week, lots of EC. If you don't need to take the lab, DON'T (it's a grade tanker; completely unnecessary). Stay on top of the reading. This is NOT the kind of class you can cram for; need at least 4 days to study for exams. Worthwhile class and prof tho.

His class is one of the best classes I have ever taken. If you don't take notes or pay attention in lecture, more than likely you're not going to do well. He does everything he can to teach things simply even if it isn't simple at all, and answers questions quickly. He's funny, and an amazing professor.

Hes a really great and awesome old man! Professor Bridges is a great and knowledgeable professor, but his class is rather intensive. If you do exactly what he lays out for you, youll do good in the class. Its very intensive, but still straight forward, so treat it as such.

DO NOT take this class, take 301/302 instead. This is much harder than 301/302 and 301/302 is graded more leniently. I took both and I am telling you from experience that 301 is the better choice.

A TON of work. Don't fall behind because the class goes fast and you won't do well on the exam. A really good professor overall though.

I came in with some knowledge, but I was interested in the topic. I rarely went to lecture (7:30 ew), but Boilercast was a HUGE help. Read the lecture notes! This course is fair and well structured. Most of the exam questions focus on application rather than regurgitation, so comprehend the material!

Dr. Bridges is a really nice Professor but youll definitely have to work your butt off for this class. Not a course for freshman and unless youve taken an anatomy/physiology course before it might be a struggle. The only advice I got from him was to do the objectives which personally never helped me.

Great Professor, he really cares about you learning the material and doing well in the class. He's funny and you can really tell that he knows what he's teaching, aside from the fact that he wrote the textbook. I don't recommend this for freshman, prior knowledge is a plus, be willing to put in work and time, SI sessions are extremely helpful.

Dr. Bridges is the sweetest old man ever!! He is so intelligent and passionate about what he teaches. This class is very time consuming and involves a ton of memorization, but if you put in the time you will be fine. You'll know everything you can about the human body by the time it's over

An AMAZING prof and a sweet man! BIOL 203 is my favorite class I've taken. People complain about how hard it is because they don't want to keep up with the work. There's just a ton of memorization with each lecture, but as long as you do it as you go along, you'll be fine for the exam. Don't put it off till the last second, or else you won't pass:/

Easily one of the best professors I've had at Purdue. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about everything he teaches; I mean come on, the man writes his own 'lecture notes' (It's a textbook don't let the name fool you). I can definitely be challenging but it's also one of those classes that you will recall information from for years to come.

One of my favorite classes I have ever taken. I would recommend taking the class not as a freshman. There are 6 quizzes a week between lab, post-lecture, and post lab. I came in thinking this was going to be the hardest thing ever but came out with a solid A. As long as you study a week in advance and make it a top priority, its not bad at all!

Dr. Bridges teaches this class very well. However, his tests are impossible if you don't study 1-2 hours per day. He clearly states this in his syllabus, but I didn't take it seriously and ended up getting a C in the class. So take my advice and study a little bit every day.

Best professor I've had at Purdue! He really makes you work for your grade but you will know the human body inside and out after you're done. Read the notes before going into every lecture to make it a lot easier on yourself.
