Dr. Halleen is very philosophical, so much that he questions EVERY opinion you have to the point that he won't give an A if he thinks of something you "could have" talked about. Quizzes are easy, but discussion boards and essays require LOTS of time and effort- which often result in a measly B-. I made an A bc of unlt. practice quizzes. Good luck.

I took his course online and it was not really challenging at all. You just take internet quizzes that you just memorize the answers to on the practice page. There are no exams just a 5 page paper about your views on the bible. EASY A.

HE was very organized and never threw a curve ball in his tests. HE loves feedback and open discussions during class. Treats all students and their questions with respect. It is obvious he works very hard at being a good teacher. The amount of reading he gives is fair and pop quizzes come from the reading. He requires only 1 paper and 2 tests. NICE

A wonderful teacher for both Ethics and Religion. Doesn't make things too hard, but does challenge you. LOVES student-teacher interactions, and encourages class interaction as well with group projects and case studies. If you want to take either Ethics or Religions, this guy's the teacher for you.
