You will learn in this Geological Sciences program the aspects of humans interacting with the environment, and how all these processes go together. You will also learn from this program about the power of stupid people in large groups, and that you don't care if humans last in the whole scheme of things. That was my biggest takeaway from EES

Yes he plays favorites. If you come to class, have the work that is due done and pay attention to him you will be one of his favorite students. Students need to grow up and due what is expected. Don't take Moecher if you can help it. Unfortunately, if you're a geology major, you gotta take this guy. If you're a geology major and plan on doing geology field camp, take it through another school. Moecher will be a nightmare! He is extremely unfair in grading, plays faves, and is inconsistent.
