This class is awful. The lectures make absolutely no sense whatsoever and the textbook and lecture are entire disconnected. He's senile and cannot hear across a small classroom. The tests are difficult and are barely comrehendable. Take a different class if you are able to for your major. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COURSE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!

Although many people claim the lectures are boring and pointless, this guy makes class fun and entertaining. He is by far the kindest, most caring professor I've ever had and pretty much gives you an A if you actually take the time to do the work. Will do everything in his power to get you a good grade. Highly recommend this class.

Easily one of the most invested professors I had in my undergraduate career at IU. Also one of the best people I have ever had the honor of knowing. I am writing this review on a Friday night 5 years after completing his course because he still contacts me to check in. If you need help in his class, just ask! He cares about every student.

Worst professor I have ever had. Lectures that can only be described as a complete waste of time. This is college, not happy hour. If you are a person who hates when a teacher messes around and does not teach any material, then you will dislike him as a teacher... He is a really good heart person though.

MOST AMAZING AND KIND TEACHER EVER!! You can tell he truly cares about his students. The energy he brings to class is unlike any other professor. He will crack a few jokes, get you involved in the discussion and might even give you some valuable life advice! While attendance isn't mandatory, it is a class you would never want to miss!

Professor Rubinstein is truly a unique professor because he cares about each and every one of his students. He's hilarious, kind, and tells memorable stories that make class and getting to know him so worthwhile. He leads with us wanting to succeed and is very genuine. He's a true IU Hoosier and has made his class one of my favorites!

Abt 20%of the exam r from the inclass and others are from book. The problem is he doesn't talk abt the book in class. He ask students to read through the book by themselves and spend class time in showing some short related videos. I really don't think this way help much. Besides we cannot get a quiet environment in exam due to his screams.

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE! By far the worst class I have taken in my academic career. He is border line crazy, scream random crap at students, and refuses to lecture or actually teach. There is a guy in my class that asked him if we could talk about some of the course material and he flat out said no. He instead told pointless stories.

One of the most eccentric classes I''ve ever taken. I''m sitting in the eighth lecture now and I still to this day do not think I''ve learned a single thing. The professor just scream random things at people the ENTIRE CLASS. I''m insulted that the business school thought my time was worth this little to require me to take this class.

Z302 with Rubinstein was kinda easy in receiving grades, however I did not really learn any useful stuff studying it. Most exam questions come from book, 20% from in-class. Team project was fun and he is very generous grader.

He cares about his students a lot, but his lectures get so old. He stands up there and screams random stories at you, and then they show up on the test. We don't talk about the textbook at all but that's on the test too. Very strange class. I didn't really learn anything...

GREAT class! Actually looked forward to coming to class. Would always leave feeling inspired and happy. He is enthusiastic and funny and cares about his students. In a 200 person class, he knew me by first and last name. This is the type of teacher that everyone should have no matter your major. The tests were average, he always uses a curve too.

Entertaining, but I didn't find his class at all interesting. Substitutes info for strange sayings. Stimulates the class by yelling, which is really funny but gets old. Overall not a bad experience.

David Rubinstein is amazing. He imparts great knowledge about the real world and treat his students like MBA students. You'll do badly only if you DO NOT STUDY. So study and you'll see results.
