Long lectures, very boring. Hard to stay awake. Be prepared to get out of class 5-10 minutes late every single lecture. Only graded on 2 tests and a series of 4 papers which are equivalent to one test. No opportunities for additional points. Tests are based off of memorization only, which seems unfair to the unfortunate.

A favorite class of mine. He gives many workdays to get your project done and is always willing to discuss your idea further if you need help. Definitely talk to him about your project a lot to make something he'll like! Super nice guy and understanding! Loved him. 1 in-class workbook at beginning, 3 half page research assignments, and 3 projects.

Dull, boring, he didn't even seem to know what he was talking about. And I think there were like 5-6 graded assignment total and the exams were IMPOSSIBLE! Awful.

He's the best cure for insomnia I've ever met. The most monotone voice, reads EVERYTHING he has written on his PowerPoints. Other than that, easy in terms of homework, tests are fairly tedious.

He is a veteran prof and good grader. He talks a lot during the lectures. Take notes, he tests from them. Reading the book is an expectation, but the focus was on the designs in the slides. Review sheets are helpful. Seminars are easy points. Tests were tough but fair; all scantron. Standards for the paper were flexible. I studied hard and passed.

One of the worst professors I have had. He has you memorize artist/date/content of around 150 images per exam, while you are only quizzed on 20 of them. Lectures are boring, he just talks through about three power point slides per class. Doesn't really care if you learn the material or pass the class.

He LOVES to talk. And also loves to smile. He's a super nice teacher. Quite a bit of reading at first. The more questions you ask, the more he will talk, haha. Overall, really respectful and gives good solid advice.

Pretty much sucks.. Have to memorize everything on his slides, picks figures from the book and you have to memorize who did it, when, where, what they used, etc.. Tons and tons of studying if you want to get a B even on the 3 tests. Only 3 tests and 3 analysis on pieces of artwork, and analysis is graded on just whether or not you did it

Decent professor. Attendance is not mandantory but you need to go to find out what images will be on the test. The tests are ridiculously hard and if you don't get a good grade you are screwed. All you have to do in this class is write 3 analysis' on a piece of art and 3 tests. No final. I wouldn't recommend this class, requires tons of studying.

Critical Frameworks. Class-kinda boring, readings-hard, attendance-mandatory (lots of free work days though). We had 3 proj. that were fairly open in criteria and were very fun. Critiques are unique, students are a jury and they work in groups to pick a Best in show and runner up. This makes you work harder on projects. Very clear on how he grades.

This class was hard to pay attention because most of the time you'll find yourself sleeping. Many people rate this professor easy, but I thought his test were a bit difficult, most people were happy if they pass with a C in his class.

This class is very, very boring, but very easy! Attendance is not mandatory, and most students only show up for review day and exam day (which is all you need!) The lectures are interesting, but are hard to stay focused on because he strays from topic. Overall, an easy "A" though!

Not clear in the readings. Runs on and on on readings with irrelevant meanings and terms, but very specific on the exams. Not clear how to study for exams. Lectures a bit dreadful, so boring. Good teacher though.

LOVED this class! Super easy (3 non-cumulative multiple choice tests), so you could just relax and listen to the lectures. Great material (poems/short stories), and the prof explains it in an interesting and deep way. This isn't even my major and it's been my favorite class, hands down.

BORING! Easy class, only 3 exams. Grades way too easy. Someone got 15/50 on a test and got a D! Class will put you to sleep. I think i spelt or skipped more than I attended. And managed to pull off a B.
