Very knowledgable and clear. He is a very strict teacher but if you take the class seriously, you will do well. He is absolutely full of interesting information! I have taken him for 2 classes and loved them both. His tests are difficult though - study hard.

This was my favorite class all semester. Eckhardt knows little tidbits about the artists so it makes the class so interesting. I would love to take him to an art museum and have him talk about everything! Awesome teacher and class!

Awesome professor. i never knew how interested i could be in something as bland as rocks. He will say something interesting every minute. Just study ahead of time because there are alot of dates and little things you'll need to know.

hands down, the best teacher i've ever had in my life. insanely well-read and interesting. his course is a must. also, check out the betzwood silent film festival he runs every spring at blue bell campus.
