Dr. Shubert was by far my favorite professor and I'm glad he taught one of the toughest courses I've taken. He makes the material easier to understand and do on your own during the test. His test check for understanding, and he is very lenient when grading. Dr. Shubert is easily one of the most genuine people I know, a good person and a great prof.

He's great at explaining and using words and phrases that will stay in your brain and help you on the test. His tests are really good, because he makes them not to catch you or fail you, but to simply see if you understood the concept. Great professor and a really nice person, but you still have to work for a good grade, obviously

Dr. Shubert is the comedic, Santa-like O-Chem professor the world never knew it needed. The course material may make you want to die, but Shubie can make you laugh at your despair. He is honest, (more than) fair, helpful, available, and obviously loves ochem and loves teaching it. Between lecture, lab, and study time, this class takes 21hrs+ a week

Dr. Shubert is THE coolest professor I have ever met. Laid back, down to earth, real guy, non pretentious. Where other "professors" are full of themselves, pull fast ones on students, get in pissy moods etc, Dr Shubert is an amazing educator, made the hardest class of my college career actually enjoyable. (it was freaking hard tho) LOVE Shubert.

Dr. Shubert is absolutely the best person I could have had for organic. Anything you could possibly want to ask him, whether it's outside the scope of the class or not, he can answer. The way he teaches takes a subject that could be very boring and dry and makes it interesting. I actually enjoy the class thanks to Dr. Shubert.

His enthusiasm is contagious. I changed my major to chemistry after taking this class. As long as you watch the videos and do a few problems at a time, it is not incredibly difficult to earn a good grade in organic chemistry. In fact I improved my previous grade from a C to an A and even returned to tutor and TA in Organic.

Dr. Shubert is THE best organic chemistry professor around. He definitely knows his stuff and his hybrid teaching style is revolutionary. Lectures are video-based and are incredibly easy to understand what's going on because he uses animations to show how the chemical reactions occur. Class time is used for working problems and answering questions.

Actually, Dr. Shubert has a PhD not a masters. He is a tough teacher, but he knows his stuff and will explain it to students more clearly if you personally go and ask for help, or even ask a question in the classroom. He will not just give you an answer to a problem (i.e. homework) rather, he will make you think it out yourself. Amazing teacher!

If you want to do well on the MCAT, especially in the physical sciences section, then this person will help you get there. He is extrememly smart and very helpful. Once I caught on to how the class went, I did extremely well, and you know what the grade comes after you enjoy learning the material.

His classes are among the hardest you will take. The guy has so much information in his head, but is challenged in making it understandable to those of us without PhDs in Chemistry. Hell of a nice guy, though, and helps you if you need it.
