Comment:

Dr. Walsh is, by far, my favorite professor at CUA. I've had him for both POL 359 and 360, and he's wonderful. His tests are very straight forward, so even though you read entire books for class, he sticks to the basic points of the book on the tests. He won't call on you, but he loves it when people answer questions! Definitely recommend him.

Excellent teacher. He knows his stuff very well and is very good at explaining it in an interesting way. He will make you think about the topic by showing how the theories apply to modern politics. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in political theory.

Fantastic professor. Mild mannered but very deep thinker. I always leave class feeling inspired. Manages not only to explain very difficult concepts clearly, but also to point out possible avenues for new development within those concepts. If you don't mind working hard, I'd recommend every class he offers.

Nice man and mildly interesting but he is a difficult grader for the class he teaches. I took a 300-level class and he graded harder (in my opinion) than my grad courses.
