Very nice guy. His lectures are easy but exams are not. Labs took a big portion of this course, lots of memorizing and identifications are involved, otherwise, it's a fun class to take!

If you are from an Agricultural Background this class should be fairly easy for you. Although, genetics of species as well as latin are things that you will have to know. Field trips are almost every week (heavy lab section). He's very knowledgeable and highly respected, overall I would take a class with him again in a heartbeat.

Dean is the most knowledgeable professor i've met. His lectures are very interesting and very informative. He is a tough grader, but if you go to class you will do well, he takes attendance into account. Overall awesome prof.
