Deb is extremely knowledgeable and competent in teaching this course. Would definitely recommend her for any class, best professor I have had. Her experience in the real world and passion for accounting shows. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and positive yet stern attitude make it an ideal learning environment.

As many have said Deb is one of the best instructors at Hawkeye. She is very passionate and knowledgable and always has a positive attitude. She is strict and, won't cut you any deals, but as long as you put in the effort she will be there to help you succeed. Easily she is68 one of the greatest assets and human capital that Hawkeye CC will have.

I took both Accounting 1 and Quant with Deb and she was EXTREMELY helpful with both. If there was anything that you needed help with, she was there. I missed the last month of class b/c I was in a bad car accident and she bought cards and had both classes sign them and sent them to me. Classmates tell me that she updated them on how I was.
