Dr. Dubartell is an amazing professor! I absolutely loved her lectures! She makes class fun and interesting. Also, she was very approachable. She is one of the best professors I have had at Edinboro.

I'm really disappointed at how much she gossips to other students. One of my friends (who she loves) knew how many times I missed class, what I was doing during class and how I was doing overall. Stay on her good side. Don't ask questions. I may not have been an ideal student (B+) but I didn't deserve to be confronted about it at graduation.

I felt very uncomfortable in this Women's Studies class. You feel like you're wrong a lot if you don't have the same views on topics. She's not afraid to tell you when she thinks your idea is stupid, and she will call you out. There were four exams, which have a take-home and an in-class portion, and they are straight from the book and lectures.

The class itself is very interesting and fun. If you love or don't mind to read, this class is definitely for you. The only complaint I have is the professor. She seemed nice and fun until she snapped at me, which was kind of off-putting but I still try to enjoy the class as much as I can.

The class should have been called Grammar 102 rather than English 102 because the only thing she cares about was grammar. On the five essays we had to write, content meant nothing and issolely based on grammar. She is rude and condescending. She once took 20 points off my test because my circles weren't neat enough despite my answers being correct.

Dr. DuBartell was an okay professor. Stay on her good side and do your work and you'll be fine. Read the textbook!! Her lectures in women's studies are mostly pretty interesting. Go to class and pay attention and you should pass easily.

Professor Dubartell is honestly the rudest person i have ever met. She will laugh at you when you ask what she thinks is a "dumb" question. She gossips and stereotypes. Also she will call you out in front of the whole class if you get something wrong. She grades though i never got below A - grade in english until her.

Absolutely the best professor I've ever had. She is so knowledgeable about her subject and is very funny. Her class is tough, but she grades fairly and offers extra credit questions on her exams. I would recommend this class to anyone interested in the English language and English history.

This class was one of my favorites. There was a lot of reading, but as long as you read them you will pass the exams. For the exams, she gives you the questions for the short and long response sections a few days prior to the day of the test which helped A LOT. There is also a bonus section on there. But, the class must participate in discussions!!

This class was easy, other than guessing on what she actually wanted from you. She's clear about format but not about content. She spends a lot of class time talking about pointless information. It's kind of a huge waste of time. Easy class though, just not a fan of her teaching style.

It was an absolute pleasure taking a class with Dr. DuBartell. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has a great attitude. Given the opportunity, I would take another one of her classes. She is engaging, funny, friendly, and you WILL learn a ton from her. Tests were somewhat challenging but not too bad. She is always available to help you.

Dr. DuBartell is a professor who seriously knows her stuff. She's hilarious and has the craziest stories. All work was from the book. There were only 3 tests which made up our grade so its imperative to pass them. Tests weren't too bad as long as you studied and knew the material. I wish I would of taken more classes with her before I graduated.

Very nice lady. Do 4 group assignments, and 3 individual assignments. They are easy assignments. Make sure to pick good and reliable partners. Class could be a drag at times. Do a 5 page SINGLE SPACE paper that is half the grade. at end of sememster do a power point and presentation that is 20 points. overall easy grade.

A teacher that is devoted to helping students. The course itself is as easy at it gets as long as you follow the directions. The one annoying thing is that you do not have to use your textbook, which costs a lot of money. Fun course and a fun teacher.
