Harvey may come across as gruff at times. All you have to do to get past this tough exterior though is to show him some respect. He'll show you lots of it back. He teaches very well. It's just matter of being able to write fast enough to keep up. A taperecorder is recommended to get all the useful information down.

I think Harvey must have written that positive posting above. Cause there is no way you could ever say anything good about that man and it not be a joke. Profs are supposed to want to help students pass.... not fail. He always thinks he is right and has even given up on learning anything new. JUST RETIRE AND DO US A FAVOUR YOU GRUMPY OLD MAN

Harvey Robbins makes more mistakes in species Id3entification than I did when i was in his ichtyology class he will tell you that something is not on the test then when you show up for the test guess what it's on there. Basically with Harvey you have to teach yourself Natural Ressources has some excellent teacheres but Harvey Robbins is not one of

Harvey one of the best teachers I have had at the college; he is very knowledgeable and helpful (he actually has his PhD…which is more than most of the teachers here can say).
