Debra Brown is the worst professor that I have ever come into contact with. She openly insults students in class with no remorse. She is an over the top hard grader and does not help students improve at all. She refers you to a book that isnt much help and acts annoyed if you dont understand something, or want extra help. No office hours either.

she asks for a lot of students and is very specific on what she wants back. If you don't do it correctly she will tell you what's wrong but WILL NOT help you figure out how to fix it. She is a hard grader and very hard to talk with.

Debbie Brown is by far the worst professor I have ever had in my 13 years of attending school. She never wants to help students improve, only tearing them down with back handed insults and only wants you to be exactly like her. She thinks shes perfect even though she is a low grade professor at a low grade SUNY school. Never take her class.

The worst professor I have ever had. Made me want to never write another paper ever again. Does not care about her students just wants them to do extremely time consuming work with little reward. Never take her, your life will become so much harder because of this professor and her awful class. I worked so hard and got an unfair final grade.

There was a new paper every other week that had to be hand written at first following her steps and she would comment on it without actually helping towards a better final draft. Told us to go to asap then told me to get a new tutor because my grades weren't improving. She asked me how I got in this class- I finished cpn 100 with a 96...

She thinks she is God's gift to teaching, and she has zero respect for anyone but herself. It is VERY clear why she is a lowly adjunct professor instead of a respected classroom teacher or administrator. Local colleges must be desperate as this woman has no place in the profession. Debbie, I've been labeled highly effective 5 years running.

Debra Brown is hands-down the worst professor I have ever had in my three years of attending college. She is rude, disrespectful, and loves to see her students fail. Her assignments are unreasonable and even when done with perfection, she finds flaws. Debra talks badly about students in their absence and is rarely happy. Avoid at all costs.

Isn't specific on assignments and avoids answering ?s. Really rude. Told a student they only passed cuz she felt bad for them. Gives poor grades if paper disagrees w her thoughts. She grades way too hard and barely gives comments. A lot of reading and then you wait a month to talk about a story. Just avoid.

Debbie Brown is easily the worst teacher I've ever had. I didn't learn a thing from her. She didn't turn back assignments in a timely manner and doesn't know what she's talking about. She seems to gain satisfaction from giving students lower grades than they deserve. She's unclear about what she expects from students .

This is a writing class, so you will have to do writing, but the amount of extra work that she makes you put in is horrendous. You have to hand write all of your assignments including rough drafts. This is the most tedious part of the class. You will write the same thing multiple times. She is a tough grader and be ready to have to go to ASAP

Worst class I've ever taken. Assigns the largest homework load imaginable. She's not helpful or clear in her directions at all. All the assignments are repetitive and irritating. If you miss a class you won't pass. If you don't go to ASAP you won't pass. If you value your sanity and life DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Worst teacher in existence. No help, doesn't put feedback on rough drafts, setting up for failure. Extremely difficult to get a C in. Do NOT take her or you will severely regret it. Half of the class has a tough time and she helps nobody. Good luck if you take her class :)

She tries her best to help her students, but really just gives a lot of work. You have to write four essays and you have to do them in the way she wants them. Most of the time she is very clear about what she wants. The work she asks is not particularly hard, but it is extremely time consuming. I do not recommend her class.

Professor Brown gives you 4 paper, all of which she grades very toughly. She is not very helpful. She thinks she is very clear about what she wants, but she is not, if you are confused, ASK QUESTIONS, you may think she won't be very nice, but it will help you in the long run. She does give you a lot of feedback on essays, thats one good thing.

Debra Brown only has three written papers in class and all of which she grades very toughly. She doesn't help, doesn't give clarity to any problems. You do not have the option for extra credit or revisions. She will fail you or at best give you a D. She makes you write many drafts of papers, those of which she skims in front of you and thats it.

She is the worst professor I've ever had a class with. I've been a phenomenal writer all my life and she made me feel like I was a worthless student capable of nothing. When I asked her for clarity, she didn't help at all. In fact, she made me cry IN class. Don't ever take her!

She's a very tough grader, and makes you do a lot of extra work on the papers. She's a very tough grader, but if you put in the work, you'll get a decent grade. She helps you out with the textbooks however, and saves you a lot of money that other teachers would cost you on them.

She's very clear at giving directions and what she wants done. Though she gives you a paper to write with 100 steps to finish in two weeks. If you're a strong writer then take this class but she's very hard and basically wants you to be just like her.
