Comment:

A very eccentric individual and frank. She's also very accommodating, but she takes a no-nonsense attitude to deception. Her method of grading is one of the weirdest I've seen in my life, but you needn't worry if you do the work. The breadth and depth of her knowledge is immense, and she is the person to turn to for questions about French dialects.

Comment:

Nancy is great, and her expertise in French is superb. Her courses are challenging without being too overwhelming. As others have said, just do your work and you'll do fine. It's true that she talks a lot about her personal life, but it's always interesting, and she does it when the class needs a break from pesky grammar rules and the like.

Bouzrara is amazing. She is fun and makes classes exciting. If you got a bad grade in class then you deserved it, not because of political differences. That's a really bad excuse because anyone who had her knows that all you have to do is the work and you get an A. Seriously, people need to grow up and take responsibilty for being lazy.

Rates herself as you can see below. She's a nice person but as a teacher she's burned out and has lost touch with whatever made her want to be a French professor in the first place. Grades very harshly if you are not politically aligned with her. You'd never know anyway. She is a good example why "tenure" is being reconsidered in this country.

Nancy is the best professor I've ever had for any class. She expects you to perform at the level you are capable of performing at. She doesn't take crap from anyone and knows more about the French language and history than anyone I've ever encountered. If you have a choice, take the class with Nancy!

Nancy seems to decide rather randomly and quickly whether whe likes a class or not. I've been in classes where she likes the students and she's amazing. I've also been in classes where she hates the students and she basically doesn't teach. In third year grammer she just read the text book to us in English every day. That was all the instruction she offered.

I love nancy. I learned a LOT from her. Her class is very open and she's hilarious. The exams are not hard, and you can take them over and over. It's hard to know what to hand in for homework, don't mess with her though, she isn't stupid.
