Comment:

Delia is a hard grader, her lecture are very dense and extremely boring. She doesn't give the amount of studio time she's supposed to and lectures instead. She is nonspecific when giving instructions on assignments and she grades very specifically. I would not recommend her and I believe she shows major preference towards students when grading.

shes pretty cool&flexable on due dates but she does forget things at most times, very helpful, doesn't like when you miss class&takes attendance everyday, also is very good w/ lectures, will allow you to work while she lectures but also doesn't mind if you plug in headphones while working.. delia is very sweet& overall caring.

Delia is great! Amazing passionate teacher, she really gives good feedback and wants you to succeed. She gives long lectures, which sometimes cuts into class work time, but she is working on it. She is an amazing artist herself, and really knows what she is talking about. Art 4 is a great intro to art class. I recommend. Kind of a lot of HW.

Projects in this class were really fun, but plan on working on all of them outside of classâ€"Delia lectures for most of the class period, which doesn't leave much time for lab. Overall, good class, but the lectures can be very tedious.

She will never give you the lab time you need,no open lab, the cost of materials is ridiculous and not utilized. There are 10 page tests, the teacher will lecture most of the class and given studio time is rare (3 hour lectures multiple days in a row)Do not waste time and money with this class. Critique is useless, she only praises what she likes

AMAZING TEACHER. Seriously, this class was my favorite. She is very informative and gives numerous examples of exactly what she's looking for. She lectures a lot, but it's informative and incredibly interesting. Honestly, I would love to take this class all over again.

projects are 60%, attendance is 30 %, and tests are 10% of your grade. lectures are really long and boring but its part of her job description to give a lecture. fun assignments but they can sometimes be confusing. she grades pretty easy. if you come to class and use your time, she notices.

Delia is a good teacher. She's always open to helping students who have questions and to those whom are struggling. I advise you to take her! She's good on grading and assignment projects. She's also very nice. :)

Very organized. Very task oriented but flexible on due dates when the class as a whole needed more time. Gives in class time to work on projects. Lots of hands on learning with good feed back for improving your work. Recommended for the serious art student.

Course was just exercise after exercise Found her to be inflexible(not a great quality for a creative arts course), unreasonable, and very biased in favor of her female students. Avoid if possible, complete waste of a semester.
