Professor Flynn is a great teacher. His class is extremely easy if you have common sense. His lectures are exactly the same as his exams. He gives you the answers word for word for his essay questions and all you need to do is memorize it. I really enjoyed his class.

Comment:
This class is very straightforward, almost all test material was reviewed and the answers to essay questions are given word for word in lecture. Be warned that in lecture he has a tendency to get off topic, often bragging about his accomplishments (sort of like a grandparent that feels compelled to share their life's knowledge with the class).

Teacher is beyond conceited, brags about his success. Mandatory attendance; I literally fall asleep in class because he is soo boring with his tone. expectations are clear, aplia homework is the real teacher. Bring a laptop & chat or something, class is real easy, he gives out answers to the essay questions

You cannot buy a used book for this b/c you must use Aplia. Attendance mandatory. Prof is boring and VERY redundant which is the only thing that makes the class hard. He tells you all that is going to be on the test beforehand and posts hints online. Expectations are clear. He makes a really gross lip-smacking noise though.

Incredibly meticulous grader, essay questions must be in his words. He uses aplia.com for homework, which might as well be the teacher. Many times he teaches the material after an online quiz on it. 10% of the grade is attendance, and class consists of him telling stories about his son for an hour and a half. I just fell asleep and missed nothing.

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR. He constantly goes off on random tangents and offers nothing of substance. Quizzes, discussion, and assignments were not useful at all.

Lectures are extremely boring. I dreaded going to class, but he gives bonus points for going, so i went. Tests are easy and if you can manage to stay awake, he explains everything you need to know in the lectures. Do the study guide and look over notes the night before tests and you will get an A.

study the essay questions and previous multiple choice--he reuses questions on the next exams..i am not an econ person, and many of the concepts were difficult to understand, but the tests aren't too bad. the multiple choice is worth a LOT though, so go over your old tests and make sure you know the things listed on his outlines.

He's a pretty good teacher. Class only got cancelled once and that's because he went to BC. It's a pretty easy class if you go to the lectures. He's a pretty good professor.

Very arbitrary and picky grader. He's a lazy teacher who cancels classes and takes long breaks. But if you learn the material from your text or a tutor, he docks you for not presenting the material EXACTLY as he does in class. Run for your life.
