Okay teacher, though a bit egocentric. Wasted lots of time on stories about self and silly jokes. Way too concerned with being popular and liked. Came across as a wannabe, outdated Tom Jones, which is hilariously redundant indeed! Maybe it's dark hair and similar last name? Had a blast...learned very little.

Jones was a great professor. Definitely tried to make the class interesting. Told lots of stories. Made a potentially boring class pretty interesting. Very understanding and an all around fun, nice guy.

Very nice guy with a lot of passion towards music. Easy to get along with and overall fair with grading. Tests can be hard but if you study and go to classes they should be no problem at all.

I did not like this prof. at all. He is too cocky and too laid back. That would be fine except that his tests are hard! He barely covers the material that is to be on the test! I left this class with no more knowledge than what I had from my 3rd grade music class!

Makes the class as easy as he can. basically spoon feeds you everything. he thinks he is funny and laughs at his own jokes even though no one else will. just never show up late or leave early. he hates that and your grade will probally be docked because of that

He's very funny, & the class is fairly easy if you study. Most of it is telling different musical pieces or movements apart. He sometimes chooses selections that are very similar, though, and won't always start at the beginning of the piece. A pretty good class, overall. Rarely ever boring.
