Swanger is a great prof who obviously knows and loves Microbiology. He is very knowledgeable but also expects his students to remember and know it all too. Very helpful outside of class, and very friendly.

this is the hardest class you'll ever take at EOU. which is weird because its only general biology. swanger is very smart and knows his stuff but much to hard.

He expects you to know evertying for the tests. He marks you wrong if you don't have an answer that is his opinion. In my class 75% of students failed the first test and we all studied, he simply grades extremly hard

Very good instructor, He knows his stuff. The bad part is he expects you to know everything he knows. He will teach it to you, but that is a lot of time dedicated to one class. Otherwise very friendly and professional
