Dr. Mace's class was one of the best classes I have ever taken. He is very interactive with the class and really makes everything you discuss interesting. Attendance isn't mandatory, but to get a good grade it is because his tests focus a lot on the content that was reviewed. I can say Dr. Mace is the best professor I've had in a while. Take him!

Dr Mace is a likable guy, but he goes off on rants about 80% of the time. If you can actually sit down and read a Psychology text book, his class is ideal for you. I did ok on his tests but only when I actually sat down and read every word of every chapter. He's tough.

Unprofessional. Provides no input on test strategies. Frequently fails to discuss or cover all material yet expects students to still know what his notes included for testing material. He doesn't abide by campus policy or follow his syllabus. Does not provide amount of time stated in the syllabus to finish quizzes. Ridicules others during class.

I don't care what anyone else says, he is a GREAT professor. He answers to Dr. Mace as of a few days ago!! That shows you he is VERY knowledgeble of what he teaches. Hard, yes. You will learn sooo much though. Extremely nice man, NEVER a boring class. It seems like he has something new and fun up his sleeve every class! Enjoyable!

An easygoing guy, sometimes helpful, but extremely hard. Quizzes are online, tricky. Tests are nearly impossible to pass, and if you get a 70, you're lucky. Also, quite partial to some of his students, and doesn't make class worth going to with his corny jokes and oftentimes sad stories. If you like a challenge, take him. Otherwise, don't.

<Honors Student Perspective> He is hard. You have to read and do your assignments as scheduled. The tests are hard but he drops questions in which 25 percent or less of the students get correct. This class is going to be harder than most other Psych classes but it will be worth it and A's can be made.

He is such a great professor. I learned so much from him. His class is very laid back type atmosphere but you really learn alot. His tests are pretty hard but very do-able. If you take good notes and read the text you will love him!

He's a great professor who is very helpful. He does have high expectations, so look out! If you are willing to work, it will be worth it in the end. He's laid back and keeps you interested during class. Just make sure the office door doesn't close when you are in there or he'll leap to open it!

Mace is awesome. The most personable and enjoyable prof I've had. Difficult weeder class, but so worth it. Tests are hard so read! Mace is willing to help and is easy to approach. Cute kids!

Comment:
Nice guy outside of class, but has no sympathy. Tests are very difficult to do well on, no matter how long you study. Doesn't know the meaning of the words "extra credit" so do well because he won't help you out in that area.
