Comment:

Film, Lit & the Arts was a very interesting course. Almost every Monday we watched a film and on Wednesdays we discussed the film. 2 exams that include identification and short answer, and 1 paper about adapting a novel into a film. Very fair grader and and she keeps class fun and interesting. I recommend this class to anyone!

she was actually hilarious. she kept me entertained all semester. she doesn't give much work, but when she does, make sure you write about exactly what you've talked about in class discussions. she doesn't appreciate interpretations that aren't her own very much.

Killed classical literature with all things Freud (her love); She is interested in her studies, not yours. Grading is subjective, so be prepared to regurgitate (take notes on lecture and then turn them into an essay); The only way to discuss is to add trivia to her point, never disagree. This class is very interesting. She is helpful and the tests follow the class discussions exactly. You don't need to buy the textbook, but if you miss any of the class discussions, you will be lost on the tests. This is a great class, and extremely easy if you attend every class. I would highly recommend taking aesthetics of film with Dr. Borden
