Professor Kurt is a fair teacher. His tests are based only on material covered in class. He might only go over 40% of the whole chapter in the textbook and that is the only 40% you have to know. Fair teacher, fairly easy tests if you've taken AP Bio. I enjoyed his class.

bio 101 was a very challenging class. I worked extremely hard, and still did not do too well. Kurt doesnt make this class any easier, he is not clear and often hard to understand. Many people dropped this class. 3 tests 1 final 6 quizzes. tests are what is said in class, never use textbook.

Kurt is a truly amazing teacher. his tests are very hard, and you must put in a lot of time and effort to do well, but it can be done. quizzes are easier. very easy to miss class, it is a big lecture so no one will notice.

Awesome teacher. Very informative, loves what he is doing, and really makes you think in class instead of mindlessly copy notes. Seriously one of the best professors I have had in college so far. Thank you Professor.

Dr. Kurt is a decent professor. His exams are purely memorize and regurgitate, and his grading is often questionable. He would take off points on someone else's test and not take points off of mine. He puts little effort into his class (presenting on 4th edition textbook even though we're reading the 5th, as well as recycling old tests)

Prof. Kurt is extremely nice, and very easygoing. He teaches well, and keeps students entertained. For my course we did not even need a textbook, however we did do some modeling to supplement our learning, which was very time consuming. I would definitely recommend Professor Kurt for anyone planning on majoring in Biology.

A ton of information is thrown at you in this course; it's wise to stay on top of things as best you can. Kurt's lectures are dry, but to the point. The exams are really where the going gets tough. Studying for them can be challenging (so much info, but no "big" concepts), and they are graded meticulously. Read the book if you can - it helps a lot.
