Tough. A lot of expectations. Knowledgeable. Boring. McAfee is a schizophrenic's delight. Previous mythologists will find the class interesting. People with no experience will struggle to meet the literature quota. Doesn't teach the myths...discusses them. Not the greatest...not the worst.

hard grader. i went from an a+ in eng 1a to a c in eng 1b. she expects a lot from teaching a little. the first paper we had, the highest grade was a C. half the class walks around campus during class and comes back 20 minutes later. i wouldnt refer her class to anyone.

McAfee is not organized at all. If you turn in a paper, it takes her weeks after her planned day to get it back to you. Her grading also fluctuates, and she isn't clear on how to change your grade from a C to an A. Don't take 1C from her!
