She teaches in a more French style so it's more independent learning. She is easy to talk to and pays attention to her students. She lets us chose the percentage we want to be graded on each criterion. Definitely, a challenge if you have never taken French, but not impossible.

Comment:
Very sweet lady, and a good professor. She demands you put effort into learning the language, but because she wants YOU to grow as a French speaker. Wish we did a bit more grammar at the 301 level, but still a good class. An easy class, but if you put in a strong effort, your French level will really expand.

Very passionate about her class, almost over passionate. She hates phones so be careful. Also she is easy if you do the basics. You can make the class very informative but you can also easily skate by with an a if you dont want to do that much work.

Good professor. Passionate about learning about other cultures, especially the French. Goes a little too quick but is still great at teaching. Gives an example test before the real test which is what you should focus your studying on. However, she feels that she's always correct and never does anything wrong.

Very helpful - will meet during office hours any time. Dianne is very intelligent and provides a lot of individual help to students. She is very good at incorporating real-life experiences to classroom discussions. Dianne pushes her students to improve - hard grader, which is good. WONDERFUL LADY :)I really enjoy going to her class every day!

This woman is amazing. She alos goes way beyond the classroom and invites you to gatherings at her place for good chats and grub. I learned so much about French speaking nations because of her! Highly recommend her!
