She is a great professor. She requires you to think more outside of the box. There are no tests, but there are a lot of papers and the papers were very easy. I highly recommend you taking her for this class.

I enjoyed the material very much. No tests, but several papers. Nothing difficult. It was hard in the beginning to get a sense of what she wanted from our papers, but I knew what I was doing by the end of the semester. Great lady! I'm going to miss this class.

I loved Dr. Smith! Self in a Mult Society was so interesting & Dr. Smith always offered great insight. She "doesn't believe" in tests, which is amazing in itself! A very kind lady who actually cares about what you have to say. Reflection papers are graded easily, she wants to hear what you have to say vs content. Every class ended early, easy A!!

I don't believe you can learn anything from this professor. You can tell that she reads very little after she was promoted to Associate Professor, now she is a full professor. Good grief!

At first I didn't like her, but I learned to. She seems a little out there. But she is open to class suggestions about how things should be done. I thought the class was very interesting. Great discussions

She is a very skilled and knowledgable teacher. I enjoy the class but she is a hard teacher she demands that we use our minds and I like that. How ever some times she is not always 100% clear on her directions or what she is wanting from us which leads to some confusion.

i hated this class...material interesting, teacher not. i had to force myself to come to the minimum # of lessons...it seemed to me that she was not always open to the opinions of those in the class and was an overly critical evaluator. Learn APA format BEFORE taking a class with her.
