Finished up with a 98% in his class, very personable and friendly. Makes funny comments during lectures. The lectures are literally the exams.

If you don't go to class you probably won't pass. His tests are based off of examples he gives in class. They are challenging but common sense once you get it. Make sure you have study partners and be prepared to do a lot of rewriting problems. His math problems require time and effort more than once to achieve success in his class on test.

The professor doesn't teach the material through notes, just examples on the board. He gives problems to do on your own time and doesn't go over it. You are graded by 1 paper, 1 quiz, and 3 exams. The positives are: the paper is a group project and you get study guides for tests. It wasn't terrible, but I didn't like the class.

By far my favorite professor. He really cares about his students and is passionate about mathematics. Just go to class & do the work , you'll pass. He will help you with anything. Never take him too seriously, he loves to joke around ! I would definitely take him again if I could.

Dr. Dip is quite an interesting character. He is a nice and funny guy, but it is a difficult class to pass if you're not good at math (he's better than Gendler though!) His class is out of 100 points. There are 3 exams, 1 quiz, and a project. If you do bad on one quiz/exam but good on the next, he gives you extra credit depending on improvement.

I hate math and i loved his class. He is hilarious and would take him again if I had the chance. Make sure you do your homework because if you don't you will struggle like I did.

You really only have to show up to class to pass. He explains what he expects of his students very clearly, and none of the work is that hard. He tells you all the time he has open to give outside help, and gives all possible contact information. His lectures are usually filled with hilarious off-hand comments. Overall, a pretty good class.

funny professor but not very clear, expect to do a lot on your own to really understand some things. Is not afraid to call you out on stupid mistakes. is ALWAYS available to help, actually gives you all of his numbers and says to call at ANY time.

hard to keep up with sometimes. his stories get you off tack, but he's a nice man. always making jokes & is willing to help whenever a student asks for it. offers extra credit many times throughout the semester. not the best class, but not the worst class to take. his assignments are easy points.

I can't put into words how awesome this guy is! First off, great sense of humor, and he really can push you to apply small things to the bigger picture. Great man, very helpful, loves his job and he's funny as hell! I have so many great stories about him and I only had him for one class! take him if you can, don't miss out!!

This guy is THE MAN! There isn't enough space for me to fully explain how awesome he is. He's hilarious and tells interesting stories that somehow relate to what we're talking about in class. You teach yourself a lot, but the book is helpful. You write a paper, but it's easy. I wish he offered more math courses, I'd take them. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Dr Dip changed the direction of my life. Until I met Dip I was uninspired and unmotivated w/respect to academics. Dr. Dip taught me to apply a blue collar work ethic to my studies. I'm now and AVP with a large life insurer in the mid-west. Dr Dip does not tolerate mediocrity and demands the best from his students making them better people.A+ for DD

Dr. Dip is by far the best professor here at Clarion. He is an easy teacher and he is very willing to help anyone. His jokes and funny stories keep your attention in class. I would HIGHLY recommend. You won't regret it.
