I DID attend ALL lectures, I DID the hw, I DID pay attention. Up till before the finals, I was in a B range, when I got my final grades back, I got that fat, ugly F pulling my GPA wayyy down (note I'm the typical B+ to A range student). In conclusion, I agree that he simply LOVES to see students fail.

Although I agree that his handwriting is bit massy and he talks and writes a lot, but it is not true that he just wants you to fail. Philosophy is a tough course and you won't pass by just studying textbook. If you are committed to attend all the classes and study his notes, Dicarlo isn't all that bad.
