Worst professor at Ohio University. He gives huge tests and papers that you have to write 10+ pages. His instructions are unclear and he often contradicts himself. He is extremely boring and its very hard to pay attention. I highly recommend you do NOT take this class.

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR. He spent the first 4 weeks talking about what we would be learning thi semester and didn't teach us anything. In fact, he never did really teach us anything. All of the learning that took place was on our own time for reserch papers and exams.

probably the most work ive put into a class and got the worst grade of anything in my 2 years here. Midterm and Final i studied my a** off and got 21/30 on both (class was on 100 point scale), even though info was strait from powerpoints. avoid this class! the work i put in did not reflect in my grade @ all. no textbook exam based on student PPTs

This class is super hard, has no text, and tests consist of material learned on your own. There are guest speakers all the time and he never teaches! When he does lecture he says nothing useful. There is very little clarity in his expectations for any assignments. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM! Do yourself a favor.

We have had those experimental classe with Ukraine which was nice, but there were Internet connection problems before and during the class...soemtimes i couldn't understand what they have been talking about in Uktaine...i guess they didn't either. we have been making those proposals for the PBS in Ukraine

The class is not inetersting unless you want to know how media works in the world. There are not trhat many courses offered anywhere in the world or in the US proper. Flournoy has got his own books which is really cool to know as long as in many Universities average professors have got non. That's a sort of a class that makes vision broader.

Great guy, good teacher! Hard to follow at first but after awhile, class gets easier. Exams were all written essay form so you need to know what you're writing about. Wasn't a book, he wrote his own book and posted it online which was cool.
