really tries to help you out. very honest and opinionated. her personality could come across as pretty rude. very caught up in her own intellect and seems like she wonders why her students aren't as smart as her. do not skip class, participate, get a tutor, go to office hours. you will fail if you do not try. I almost failed until I got a tutor

If you don't go to class you will not pass. This is a course you really have to put effort in. She wrote her own textbook that she gives students for free so you won't need to buy a textbook. She talks fast, very hard lecture to follow. Go for extra help and she will want to help. You will have homework almost every class.

If you don't go to class, you won't pass. You have to really put in effort to do well in this class! Advice: write down EVERY equation. Trust me you'll need several problems to look back to for reference. Homework would take me around 1-1.5hrs. She's kind of offputting... you have to get used to her personality to like her.

Attendance is ESSENTIAL to passing. You'll be completely lost otherwise, so make sure to be there every class. Write down every example she put on the board, and the homework will be no problem. Only complaint would be the 60min time limit she gives on tests. It made me feel really rushed sometimes. Otherwise, best math professor I've ever had.

I absolutely loved this class. Its not the easiest one you will ever take. But show up and take good notes (as in- write down EVERY example she puts up)and there is no reason you shouldn't be golden!

Took her my second time around for psych stats, but I had to drop it. She is a very nice woman, and a good teacher (for those who are good in math). Math is my most difficult subject, so her fast pace did not work well for me. I would recommend Menees for those who have trouble with math.

you MUST go to class unless you are deathly ill, you dont want to miss anything. GREAT teacher, reasonable work load, explains everything well. after a few classes you will be getting out within an hour, but she is still around for the last 45 if you need more practice/help. she is very nice, very knowledgeable.

Definitely take Psych Stats with Dr. V if math is not your best subject. She definitely does her best to explain it in the simplest terms possible. She also loves teaching it, which shows in her enthusiasm for it. She knows most students are scared to death of Psych Stats, so she makes it as NOT scary as possible!

Awesome stats teacher. She loves to give partial credit. The class is easy as long as you go to it and pay attention, she makes sure everyone gets it. Really helpful teacher, plus as soon as you understand the concept for the day, you can leave so she can help those that need it. Take her class if you get the chance to!

Donna is a great professor, really knows her stuff and can keep the class interesting with anecdotes from her days working with rats and snails (sounds worse than it is). She was my advisor and I'd take another calls with her in a heartbeat.
