She gives a lot of homework but they are really easy and helpful. If English is your second language I would suggest you to take this class, because she really focuses on teaching grammar and she gives good feedback for your writing as well. Just follow her instructions and you should be fine.

She is great ! Very helpful and understanding. If you are honest with her and actually speak to her with any kind of trouble you're having she will definitely help you out to make sure you pass, but of course you gotta put in the work (no laziness !)

An easy class with a sweet professor. Assignments are easy (think like 10th grade English work). Overall I'd recommend taking her; however, writing in her class is roughly 52% so if you're not a good writer (& you're not willing to work hard) then you might not want to take this class.

The most sweetest teacher ever1 So helpful! Always there if you need help or ask questions. DEFINITLEY recommend her! You will learn out of her class! Explains anything you did wrong on your essays.Seems that she really does care about her students and I love her for that. Not alot of teachers are like that.Plus lets you use any notes on the final!

Previous comments seem to complain about how hard her class is, but she really prepares you for UC college lvl writing. If that's not what you're shooting for, don't take this class. She gives great advice and you can email paragraphs for her to edit. Pay attention in class! She gives you many ideas to include in essays, and it helps to get the A

She assigns around 4 assignments of hw a class. Easy hw, mostly reading & analyzing. She grades very fair and is extremely helpful b/c she gives detailed critiques. You should put in at least 7 hrs per paper or itll be difficult to get an A. I got an 89.9 along with 2 other students. However, no one exceeded 89.9 so she curved it and gave us the A-

She grades very harsh. I work on her papers for hours and hours everyday and she still gives me either C orD. She gives too much homework as if she's the only teacher in campus. She talks so much in class and when she ask people for questions, she would cut them whenever she wants. spend too much time studying for her class. SHE RUINS UR SEMESTER

her homework may seem alot, but its easy. she grades tough on her essays, she took of points because i didnt write my last name (twice) on the front page. Looking through these comments you can see its the 101 class that seems to have trouble. Yes it is a hard class, but you actually learn from this teacher. Show up, pay attention and email her about your papers and you will pass this class. The others on here who dont like her are the obvious slackers who want everything handed to them.

This teacher is very hard. Unless you write in her exact style she is going to mark your paper down. I spent over 12 hours on a paper and brought it to the writing center twice and still barely got a B. Never had anyone crossout so much on a paper. Got an email notification for the writing center because I need help? BTW I am a straight A student
