Dr. Bazzini is amazing! Very caring and funny, and clearly experienced in her field. She gives great feedback and really tries to make sure that you understand what is being taught. She is a tough but fair grader, and really helped my research writing skills improve over this course. I've heard good things about her other classes too, take a look.

Comment:

Bazzini's capstone course requires work. There's a 35 minute solo presentation that takes a lot of time, so don't put it off. She's a TOUGH grader when it comes to papers. She will even tell you at the beginning of the semester that students give her low evaluation scores for her grading, but overall, put in the effort and you'll be fine.

If you're a psych major, sorry you have to take a capstone class. Her's was by far 1 of the easiest. Yes, there's outside hw, but it's graded pretty easy. There is a 30-35min presentation, and it's dense, but once you do it and it's over, the rest of the class is a breeze. 1 paper, 7 pages but only 4 pages have actual writing. Love her!

Comment:

Great teacher! Super enthusiastic and passionate. A little spastic and goes all over the place, but works hard to make material relatable so it's easier to understand. Grades a little weird because tests cover material you don't necessarily go over a lot or at all. DO VOCAB IN TEXTBOOK BEFORE EVERY TEST- will have 1-3 vocab words or studies!

One of the best professors I've ever had. She's really into the subject and goes slow so that everyone understands it. She's absolutely hilarious and keeps it interesting. Her class isn't challenging, especially as a psych major, because you've learned most of it in other classes. Tests come right from the study guide. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Bazzini is very clear on what she expects from you in her class. Her tests are pulled right from her notes and the textbook review sheets she provides. Know that material and you will pass with flying colors. She has been one of my favorite professors this semester. Highly recommend this class and her in general.

TAKE DORIS BAZZINI! Her class is not super easy BUT she is an incredible teacher! You have 4 exams based in lecture and some definitions in the book. Class is lecture based but she makes it very interesting and easy to understand.

Very good teaching style and super friendly but her tests are difficult for the material that she covers. Almost a little unnecessary. Really nice but also not super helpful when you ask questions even during the test about something you might not get. Not my favorite probably wouldn't take again. Your only grades come from 4 tests.

excellent teacher: clear, interesting, and enjoys what she does. uses multiple forms of media to help drive a point home. tests are not hard, but if you don't attend class you WILL FAIL the tests. study guides for tests, about 15% of the test comes from the book, the rest from class. overall a great class to take!

Dr. Bazzini is very entertaining and animated, but it takes her FOREVER to go over the smallest amount of material. Her exams are very nitpicky. I honestly learned more from reading the book than from her. Hearing about research studies over and over again gets pretty old. I would take her classes again, but she does draw things out a bit.

TAKE HER NOW! Dr. Bazzini is so wonderful and funny. She speaks and teaches in a way that keeps you interested in the subject. I took social psych with her over the summer for a 2 hr, 10 min class and time flew by. There were only four tests and I wound up with a B!

She is an amazing professor!! I've taken her for two different classes and loved both. She is always willing to help if you need it. Attendance isn't mandatory but depends on class size. SHE IS AWESOME. Take her! Very funny but good at explaining things. Tests are the only 4 grades. Make sure you go to class and take notes although attendance isn't required. The notes are makeup 90% of the test.
