Dr. Keller is very passionate about teaching art. However, she is also passionate about being "old school". I wanted to do a paper portraying gay rights and she humiliated me in front of the class because "she doesnt believe in gay rights". She is not accommodating to athletes. If you know a lot about art, she will love you. If not, good luck.

Dr. Keller is absolutely the worst professor I have ever had. And I'm not saying this because she is "tough." Her class is difficult but if you study hard it's possible to get good grades (which I have so far this semester). However, not only is she MEAN she will go out of her way to humiliate you, make you feel stupid and be completely degrading.

Art is her passion and so is teaching it. She loves when you are engaged and asking questions. Her classes are very interesting and she is too. She can be stern but she is wonderful!

She really is intimidating, but her classes are so worth it!! Study hard, ask questions, be interested...she loved conversation...plays favorites, but is SO knowledgeable!! Great person!! Took Antiques & Women Artists!

She's a comes off as really rough, but she warms up to you once you prove that you're in her class to learn. Amazingly knowledgeable. Even though she may not hold a doctorates, she still has a ton of first hand knowledge to bring to the classroom. All of her slides are pictures she has taken! Great Professor!!!

Prof. Keller is great!! Her classes are challenging at first, but get easier as you go along. She knows SO much, and really inspires you to love art. Be prepared to go to class, take notes, and study hard for tests, but in the end, it's totally worth it!!

She expects alot from her students. Show interest and she will be more compassionate. Overall, needs to improve attitude towards students. Could be very cruel to other students over a simple thing like yawning or resting their head on their hands. However, I loved what I learned and though she is intimidating, I would take anothre class with her.

Awesome teacher! Very demanding however it was always clear what she wanted and she was willing to help you if you were willing to put in the effort. One of the most interesting things about her is that most of her slides gor class were all her own!

she has a very dry sense of humor, don't be rude or negligent in this class or she will rip your head off. god forbid your hair gets in the way of the projector! the courseload was jampacked full of info but was extremely interesting. make sure you take good notes in addition to the hints that she gives. most, if not all of the material she covers will be on the tests. if you miss a class, make sure you get notes. many compare/contrast essays helped boost points on tests. Outstanding professor on many levels. Is very interested in furthering students' knowledge of and passion for art history. She is a wealth of information and is extremely intelligent and insightful and well connected in the art world. Highly organized. This turned out to be one of my favorite classes! Tough but definitely worth it!

Has good points and bad points- class can be very challenging; she's very passionate and intelligent, however sometimes she can come off as cold and intolerant, but for the most part I had a good experience with her. Her attendance policy is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for though.

Knows her subject matter well & very passionate about her field! Clear about subject matter in class, not so clear about projects....adds and changes directions at the last minute. Puts people on the spot...hard to get a good grade.
