One of the most boring professors i've had. You have to attend class for grade, you sit there and listen to him talk about random stuff that you loose track of in the first 5 minutes. I could not go to one in class lecture and still come out with the same grade i did. If you have different opinions than him, you're wrong. Guy is smart but so boring

He was not very attentive and talks with a monotone voice. He put me to sleep most days because his content was not very engaging.

Dr. Dalton is a nice guy. His lectures are VERY long and boring. Most of the time in class is spent watching movies that are grossly outdated. He does not allow use of technology in class, so it is very easy to fall asleep. He does grade on participation so make sure you talk every once in a while and try not to fall asleep. tests are easy!

Dr. Dalton is a nice guy, and he's very knowledgeable, but his style doesn't translate well to the modern classroom. He does PowerPoints, but he gets in a mode where he's half talking AT you, and half talking TO you. I found him to be much more engaging one-on-one after class. Get the books, take notes, talk in class, and you'll be okay.

His lectures are PAINFULLY boring. You know what I'm talking about... Using PowerPoints be standing in the same spot talking for the entire class. If he runs out of things to say even 5 minutes before class ends, he will stand there and dilly dally until exactly the end of class before you can leave. Too boring

Dr. Dalton is an easy going professor. In his class the work consisted of watching films, taking notes, reading, quizzes/tests, and doing papers. I recommend you going to class because if you miss a movie you're out of luck for the quiz. Pretty much just go to class and do the work and you should do fine.

Doug Dalton is very monotone. All the class quizzes, tests, and midterms are online. So pretty much its an easy A you just have to go to class because he takes attendance that affects your grade.

Dalton is a fascinating, hilarious professor. Even if he seems really boring at first. The only time the classes are boring is when we don't do the readings or participate. So Participate! it will make the classes go by much faster

He tries, but he's very monotone and doesn't teach very much at all. Reading the book is vital to passing the quizzes and tests. His papers can be a pain but are plenty doable.

Dr Dalton is a very smart and he definitely knows what he is talking about. That being said, he is also very monotone. He gives you the tests at the beginning of the semester and then he answers the question to the test in his lectures. Write exactly what he says as your answer and you will most likely get an A, but he is still a hard grader.

So far I have not learned anything in class, everything is from the book. All we've done so far is watch movies and take tests. That is the only way we get grades.

Dalton is a wonderful Anthro professor. If you are looking for an easy A to fullfill your Gen Ed requirement he is not the teacher to take. Stick with Jordan or Bates. Hard grader, but when you do get an A you really feel accomplished. very passionate. If you are an anth major you will love him. prepares you for grad school for sure!

Dr. Dalton is a great professor. If you're an Anthropology major, or are interested in anything in that realm, then definitely take him. He is monotone with his speaking, but he really has interesting stories and experiences. If you are taking Anthro 101 for a Gen Ed goal, or if you're thinking about Anthropology as a major, take 101 with Jordan.

Dalton is smart and kind; however, he is extremely dull to listen to. Assignments through the year are EASY,& no tests or quizzes. At the end of the course though, he throws a research paper & a final exam on you that are harder than anything prior. It seems like you dont need to take notes in class, but you actually should. It'll help at the end.

He is an obviously intelligent guy who is really passionate about the subject he teaches. His lectures however are monotone and often if you can manage to pay attention, they are confusing. He is a fair grader and you should do fine on all of his essays but all of his essays are pages and pages and take hours because they are so in depth.
