Dra. Budd was amazing! I think that she is the best professor I have ever had at Longwood. She is so helpful if you try. She does give pop quizzes, so be prepared. She knows if you are working hard, and will be more than happy to help you!!

Dr. Budd is extremely helpful. She lets us do rough drafts of our papers and shows us where we went wrong. I would highly recommend her. She talks in English sometimes. Participate and review often and you will do well in this class.

This woman is probably the worst person I have ever met. Failed 10 or more seniors, all of which could not graduate because of her class. If it is possible avoid her class. The hardest, most worthless class I have taken in my entire 4 years at Longwood.

This teacher is crazy!!! Totally unfair when it comes to homework, completely random on projects (accused most of the people of plagiarizing on the final essay) and freakishly predictable when it comes to quizzes and tests! Avoid her at ALL COSTS!! If not, well then good luck...

I thought she was a great professor; she was very clear and if you try a little, it's not hard to make a good grade. She's always willing to help & is very nice. She'll go over info as many times as the class wants and gives study guides for her tests. I'm def. taking SPAN 320 with her. I dont see how she got such bad ratings from everyone else..

Thank God I only had one Spanish class. She's very boring and speaks in monotone. Tests and quizzes aren't *horrible* but you better study. And make sure to show up for class, because she won't give a pop quiz for 3 weeks, and then all of a sudden she'll give 3 in a row. Just because she gave one last class doesn't mean she won't give you another.

This class was HARD, but I worked and got an A. Do your work and pay attention, go to her if you need help and study or you will fail. She does yell for stupid stuff such as yawning in class. I wouldn't recommend seeking out a class taught by her but don't drop it just because she is teaching it.

i'm fluent in spanish and this class was HARD! Her exams are ridiculous, bad grade becuase you didn't do enough, not because its wrong. Plus she CAN'T speak it good at all, horrible accent, can't understand her at all... and believe me, i should.

Dr. Budd is a hard working teacher that obviously loves her work. She doesn't make the class hard; it just naturally is --- so you have to work hard, be organized and have a way of reviewing regularly. If I were her I would give a 10 point quiz every class to keep everyone "in the game."
