This guy is without question the worst professor currently employed by Hofstra.He does not help at all, the class is based off of how well your painting looks however the professor never actually teaches you how to paint.Hands you a list of names the first day and says these are artists, then the last class says know them all by heart for the final

Hilson wants to see good artwork, however, he is a bit judgemental about what is good artwork. I did not find him inspiring and a few students said they would leave his class frustrated daily. I would agree with that. He would also tell some students they were better than others in the class, in earshot...wasnt nice. And I was the one being complim

even if you are not artistically inclined, you should absolutely take this class. hilson really cares about each student's advancement and my skills have improved SO much! assignments are interesting and fun, and he is an accurate grader.
