Honestly this is the best English Professor I've had since attending Queensborough. He's straight forward. Just Follow his syllabus and do the journals. Also, I don't know about the Fall, Spring but in the Summer session he makes it very easy just to get an A in his class. So Highly take him He'll save your GPA

What a pleasant prof. enjoyed this class very much. interesting grading system "stock market". 6 essays, 1 powerpoint presentation, blind date to art museum with art student thru swig project. essays he correct and lets you rewrite for a better grade. I received an A- because i missed one essay. He is very funny in a sarcastic way.

He totally comes on here so he's probably posting all of those wonderful comments. I didn't like his class at all because he's arrogant and the point system is a bit annoying. I had amazing professors for Eng 101-Elise Denbo and creative writing-Jessica Rogers. Those are real English professors.

Professor Mann is a great teacher. You will fail only if you don't attend class and if you don't go by his syllabus. YES, its alot of writing but its for your benefit and if you do it on time, with the journals & online homework you will get an A. If you're a slacker, dont take his class.unless you want an A and focus on your classes, then take it

If you're a hard-working student but can't get a good grade in English, this is the best teacher for you! There are many things to do in his class, some are easy and some are tough. But as long as you can keep up til end of semester, you'll be fine. Only few absences are acceptable. Lazy ones should avoid him :P

I felt like he was all over the place & the jokes are not very funny.Its actually annoying when you're trying to understand what you're being taught. His sarcasm isn't necessary when u ask a question, its actually rude.He likes to look up to the sky alot when u ask questions or in general

he is extremely boring and doesn't really clarify what he teaches. he teaches things you never even learned before and will think you're not even in an english class. I've fallen asleep many times in his class, that's how boring it is. he is a good teacher but he talks too much. he gives A LOT of essays and A LOT of writing assignments
