GREAT teacher. She is the best professor I have ever had. The class requires work, but she makes it very interesting and fun. The answer basket is great. UTTyler sucks for giving her the boot just because she is not published. You folks up in Kansas are getting a great asset. I am very glad I started when I did so I could take her classes.

Spr 09 will be her last semester & that's the worst thing that could happen to this school. This woman is AWESOME! Knowledgeable, interesting, challenging, and really cares! You will work your butt off in her class, but it is not impossible. She tells you what she expects and means it. Got an A & w/ perfect attendance, was exempt from the final!

her tests were unpredictable and too short/specific. she gave out 200+ terms to study but only put 14 questions on the test which were fill in the blank or brief response. I studied 20 hrs only to make a 80 on her third test. the homework is worth more point for point than tests so do the long tedious assignments unless you plan on studing foreve

awesome! she is very informative and fun. you can tell she has a real passion for the material. she doesnt take any crap however, so DO your reading, participate in class, take good notes and formulate a good study guide and you will do fine. i would definately take her again and again!!!!!

She is by far one of the most "down to earth" professors here and definately isn't afraid to call you out on B.S. or tell it like it is (which is absolutely AWESOME!)Yes, you will have to work for your "A", but you learn a ton of info that sticks with you. Just don't put "its" when you mean't "IT's"

This class will change your aspect of the CJ system and the victim. Dr. Merianos brings in some of the best guest speakers and allows to the class to be some lecture and mostly discussion/forum format. She really cares about what the individual learns and applies in her class.
