Literally has no idea what he is talking about half of the time and is incredibly vague, convoluted, and subjective in his written directions. Hard to drag yourself to his class everyday, its worth your time trying to switch teachers. Computer science teachers shouldn't be allowed to teach humanities.

everyone taking a math class just for credit is going to hate it. but i think collins is a good prof- he holds office hours, he makes sure you know who the tutors are, and he tries to make class fun with bunnies. its hard to explain math to kids who dont like it when you do- i like his enthusiasm. give him a break guys! he also rides a motorcycle.

Dr. Collins is very disorganized and his lectures seem prepared only half the time. His examples are often bizarre and only somewhat helpful. He does know what he's talking about underneath his disjointed lectures and is helpful if tracked down. You'll pass with an A if you bother to do the work, but how much you'll learn from him is sketchy.

I had Dr. Collins for Journeys in its first year, and wow, I hated it. I hope he's not still teaching that class because he made it suck even more than it had to. I wish I'd had a better professor for that class.
