I had him his last simmester, out of the 28 that started the class only 4 passed, the key to passing is to do ALL the homework and lab reports, then he will automaticly pass you (no matter your test scores). But one problem he assigned 50 problems per section! I'm glade he retired, too bad he had to Fail me.

I was the only one to get an A in my class, there was one B, and a couple C's. The course was facinating when we got to look in telescopes, but overall STAY AWAY if you don't like to read a crapload or don't have a good memory.

I think 2 out of 42 students passed w/ C. Tests are EXTREMLY unfair. Hardest clas I'll ever have to take. Hey Duane, this is Phy 211, not PHY 598. You singlehandedly ruin students' aspirations to become engineers, and my interest to stay at RVC. You should retire and let Check take over.

Ok this guy is nice but goes off into ridiculous equations and almost expects us to know what hes talking about. When asked what was on a test this is what he said "I expect you to know everything Ive told you, what I havent told you, and what the author tells you". DONT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Not a good teacher. Hard quizzes, hard tests. Does not teach subject at all. Everytime I ask him a question, he replies, "that's straight forward, don't you think?" No, if it straight forward, I wouldn't have asked you jabroni!

An impossible course if you have not yet taken Calculus III. He is a nice guy, but his intellect is far superior to most and that is probably why he has trouble communicating his ideas to students. AVOID this class at all costs. Take this course at NIU.

Very knowledgeable, truly excited to teach. Only cares to retain the best students, makes no effort to accomodate the rest. Dress code for class: Butterfly collars and sweater-vests.
