If you like talking about absolutely nothing for the entire class period, I highly recommend taking one of Riggs' classes. If you want to learn something useful, then don't waste your time taking her class. The bottom line is Riggs is a horrible professor, and I dreaded having to attend her class every week.

She is an easy teacher, but not helpful. She is very opinionated and isn't open to hearing other's points of view. I was thrilled every single time class was over. Furthermore, she wasn't very helpful during our clinical exprience. She seemed more focused on her PhD students than us. While she's not helpful, it is an easy A in the course.

She is extremely motivational and everything a teacher should be. Time flew in her class and I feel I learned so much from her. I wish I could have her as a professor everyday. I've never met someone so inspirational and in love with teaching. I can only hope I can be half of what she is one day. Definitely, if you can take her class!

Dr. Riggs is amazing. Sure, she gets off topic at times, and she always seems to be behind in grading. But most of what I learned in her class was not the content. What I learned is how to really be a teacher. She's inspirational, understanding, and fair. She's also traveled, and wise. Don't just take the class - aspire to be more like her!

Dr. Rigg makes class fun & interesting!!! She is an awesome teacher! I love the way she approaches us students from every aspect of our lives...from improvement to academics, social to personal life, and last but not least, to truly understanding why we, as students, perform the way we do. Definitely take her class! She's pretty straight forward

Very caring professor. Textbook makes a great expensive doorstop. If you are taking this class as a part of the block, you could safely split the cost of the book with someone else and share it. You don't really need it.
