Very strict on grading and takes off points for the smallest things. One issue with your answer and he will take off all 5 points instead of getting partial credit. Resistant to helping students. It seems like he wants his students to fail the course. A students get D's on his tests. The averages are horrible and he never curves. Do not take ever.

Decent professor, but very nit-picky while grading exams. I would not say this class is horribly difficult (I got an A-), but you will learn that he is very unforgiving with some things. He will deduct significant points for things like "poor use of white-space." His TA grades homework and labs, so the are much easier to get a good grade on.

His lectures can be a little dry but the information is all there and presented concisely. I have straight A's in the class and knew nothing of the subject matter going into it. I would recommend him to other students.

Doesn't care if you learn at all. Grades tests really hard, not like you're a beginner computer programming class. He grades tests on if the program runs, but even if it does, you still can get mark off lots of points because of something extra or forgotten. Stay clear and don't ever take him!

Terrible, being an A student I figured the class would be easy. Not lenient with grading at all. Lowest grade I've ever gotten in a class was from him. Exams are weird combinations of homework problems that you've never seen, so they're hard...but some hws are harder. Won't even count you for attendance if you forgot to sign in but WERE THERE.

I also hear his dynamics class is really hard, but im in mechanics and its not bad. I spend about 7 or 8 hours a week doing his homework on average. His tests aren't bad, I have A's on everything so far. I have nothing bad to say about him, i would take him again for sure

Had him for mechanics, He was easy. I hear his dynamics class is a lot harder. He does teach from his online notes which I like because if you miss class its ok. I have A's on all my tests in his class, he is pretty good. I would take again

He teaches his classes like he's a machine. He has all of his lectures online, and he reads right off of them for class. He explains things very clearly, the only problem is maintaining your attention span. He's very dry and boring and horrible at answering questions. His class isn't hard, but it's not fun either.
