he's a really cool guy. he's young too so that makes it even cooler. there is a s*** load of reading but its not so bad. u have 3 papers due. and its based on the reading... so if u read and can write a decent paper you should have no problem. he explains everything with clarity and answers all your questions. take him. you'll enjoy class.

This is possibly the best teacher I've ever had. No tests. Just papers. I don't like to use the word "hero" a lot, but Mr. Blum is my hero. I was always amazed how he can relate his own stories to our class. He is indeed a god amongst men.

He's very energetic and loves to talk. There are no tests in the class just 7 papers to wrtie for the whole semester. But don't half ass the papers. He grades them pretty fairly. As long as you keep up with the reading and talk in class you'll do great.
