Straight unfair! We have 15-20 page research paper due and three days later the final paper is due during the study period which is 2 6-7 page papers. He acts like he knows everything, but contradicts himself all the time. When I questioned what he had said earlier and he says "you can't believe everything I say." Don't take him!

I regret taking his class. He is very unfair and enjoys putting the students down. He is too full of himself. He does not go over what he assigned for the readings in class instead talks about other books and people he likes and often forgets what he had assigned for readings. Avoid taking him at any cost.

Thompson is one of the best professors at Holy Cross. He will make you read until you need a new prescription, but you will gain much from it. Always willing to meet with students during office hrs and outside of class for additional help and understanding. He was a huge help in making my HC academic experience an enjoyable one.

There is a lot of reading, but I didn't think you had to do all of it to get by. He's a resonable guy - can be hard with tests. However, he is very passionate and knowledgable. You will learn a lot. Thompson is a really great person. I had him as an advisor and he really fought for things I wanted.
