He sometimes covered material too quickly, making it hard to keep it for the more difficult subjects. However, people chose not to come to the class and then complained for getting a bad grade. If you show up and put in the work, you can do well in the class. Offers 2% extra credit on final grade, tests make up 50% of grade.

This was one of my best classes at U of M. It was called Language and Discrimination, I got an A with minimal effort, but Rusty is incredibly knowledgeable, the reading was intersting and I learned a lot more than any other class.
