Dr. Markegard was a great professor for Math 110! He is a very nice guy, so give him the respect he deserves. We had homework online after every class, but it wasn't overwhelming. The tests were really easy, especially since he lets you use notes. I'd say he's probably the #1 professor for Math 110, so take his class if you have the chance.

Professor Markegard is awesome. He is super helpful and is there to make sure you understand the material and get a good grade. He lets you use notes for every test and opens homework back up sometimes if you didn't finish it. He uses MyMathLab online for all homework. I would choose him over anyone else for Finite Mathematics.

By far one of my favorite math teachers for I took finite 110, he's super helpful and always makes sure you understand the material before moving on. Always ask questions he' s very understanding!

Dr. Markegard was the best math teacher I've ever had. He always asks you if you need help on anything, and you should definitely take advantage of this because he is very clear at explaining things. Awesome teacher who truly shows that he cares about his students.

Math 050 is all online. He takes attendance but, the attendance points are only used as extra credit on the final. We were able to take the final after 80% of Aleks was complete. I believe we were also able to take it more than once if we did not do well on the final. Overall, a really great professor. He wants you to succeed. Could switch to 115.

The work that you do for the class is all online, but he takes attendance to be in class and is a very helpful and friendly professor. He explains the topics very clearly, and is always willing to help. DO NOT get behind on ALEKS. You can take the final early after you have done most of the topics so I suggest to prioritize asap.

ALEKS was what his class is based on and its really hard to learn from cause you don't have a person teaching you everything but whenever you don't understand something he has really flexible office hours and his door is always always open if you need help with anything.

Professor Markegard was by far one of my favorite professors! This course is done through an online program called Aleks and that is where you do all of your homework and tests. He is willing to help all of his students and does not stop trying until he makes sure you understand the criteria! He also gives the option of finishing the class early!

Markegard is one of my favorite professors. He seems like he genuinely cares about each individual student and is very good at explaining things so you understand. If you have the opportunity, take one of his classes.

This class is a hybrid with being half online and half in class. Attendance is a huge part of class but if you skip you can make it up in the lab by doing the online portion. He is one of the nicest proffesors i have ever had and is always willing to help. Make sure you keep up with the math topics or you will probably fail. Still an easy class

Markegard is a very sweet and helpful professor. He really takes the time to work with you. The entire class is based online (even though it's not a online class). It's nice because you can finish at your own pace. You can even take the final early (and take the final as many times as need be) and get out of the class before the semester ends.

He's a really nice guy. We were trying a new program (I think it's new for the school) called ALEKS which was online and let us go at our own pace, but were still expected to go to class and an hour in the MAC lab a week. This was so you could get help if you needed it. An easy class, and the lab was a good way to build up extra credit points.

He is the nicest person I've have met in my life. I finished the class right after Spring Break. The class is average when it comes to difficulty, but if you keep up with the ALEKS pie, you will be done before you know it. Highly suggest this class.

Professor Markegard is a very helpful guy, but the class is very difficult for a one hundred level course. Basically your grade is based upon how well you do on the final (which is hard). If you have the option to take a different professor I would based simply on how the class is setup.

He treats it like an online class almost because everything you do is on a website. He is super nice and helpful but the course itself is difficult because you have to perfect so many topics. The final exam is so difficult and your final grade is only dependent on your attendance percentage and your final exam grade.
