It's obvious she has a passion for English Literature. If you do, too, you'll LOVE her class. However, if that's not your area of interest, it may be boring. Her classes are what you make them, you can have great, meaningful discussions IF you participate, and will do well if you seek her help and utilize her expertise.

Awesome prof. Fun class discussions, you can bring up anything that comes to mind related to the reading. She will walk you through everything if you're having trouble and affirms everyone's opinion and perspective, so shy people get a lot more comfortable speaking in class. She'll help you with paper writing and the tests are pretty easy.

gets really deep into meaning and stuff. she can be boring if you aren't interested in the material, but if you're a hardcore english nerd you'll love her. she WILL do a lot of hand-holding for beginners though, so if you have no idea what you're doing she's really helpful. she made me an english major.

Raschke is a very nice woman, she cares a lot about her students, and is very helpful if you seek her help (ie: office hours). I feel that she could have done a lot more to initiate discussion in the class though, we all just kind of sat there on our laptops, facebooking.
