Ed is a very easy teacher to get along with if you're willing to care. He can sense when people don't care and he'll let them flounder, but if you truly care about the information he's teaching then he's one of the best teachers you'll ever have.

I'm a Med major and I missed a 4.0 because of theater 101. About 4 "A's" out of an entire auditorium. I would not recommend this teacher at all for this class. He makes the information very interesting but tests are impossible and there is no extra credit. Good luck if you get him, you'll need it.

His lectures are interesting but he's test are just stupid. He's very unfair and doesn't care about students. He's more worried about his "Hollywood" dreams than students. It's an easy class but he's annoying.

simpson is an awesome professor! he has a lot of energy, and is clearly interested in what he teaches. although he has the tendency to tell pointless stories, this class is an easy A as long as you attend and take good notes!

The 3 hour class is very long but he constantly tells story after story... can be a good or a bad thing. Atleast the stories are very interesting! He keeps people's attention by walking around, talking loud, and being very animated. Get and A in the class, don't have to take the final! Take him!

Ed is an awesome prof! He teaches you what you need to know, and has an excellent way of delivering it. I'm sad that people don't understand--He's a VERY busy man (He's making a movie here afterall!), but to my knowledge, he has never been rude to anyone!
